Dawson Forsey is a singer-songwriter from Newfoundland, now based in Vancouver, Canada. Blending dad rock and lo-fi country, he draws inspiration from Newfoundland’s rich musical history, crafting introspective tunes that explore heartache, insecurity, and fear. With influences ranging from Bruce Springsteen to John Prine, Dawson’s warm and moody crooning, accompanied by his jaguar guitar, captivates audiences, inviting them into a world of dusty roads and endless pink skies.
He continues to experiment with the country genre as demonstrated in his EP Howdy Stranger. He’s currently working in the studio on his next album, diving deeper into his experimental western sound. Stay tuned!
